Social Member
All members of the club are social members. A social member includes an individual, their partner and their unmarried children under the age of 25. A social member can picnic and dock at the club as long as they don’t interfere with the operation of the sailing school or private parties. A social member can launch and sail a dinghy from the club and skip or crew in club races and regattas. A social member can attend all social events. A social member can host a gathering of up to 10 people at the club or rent the facility for a larger private party.
Junior Member
A junior member is a social membership for individuals under the age of 25.
Regular Member
Regular members are financial benefactors to the club committed to sustaining the club’s operation and preserving its history. Regular members can be board members and officers of the club and vote on matters concerning club operations. To become a regular member, you must be sponsored by an existing regular member and be approved by the board. There is an initiation fee in addition to the annual fee and a vesting period for regular membership. Regular members receive a 10% discount on Additional Fees, a 25% discount on clubhouse rental and a 20% discount on sailing school fees. Contact a board member if you are interested.
Additional Fees
Additional annual fees are charged for a boat slip spot at the pier (members provide their own lifts), having a c scow in the fleet for Sunday races, for a spot in the back lot for parking a trailer/boat and for launching dinghies.
Becoming a Member
The membership fee structure is available below.
Read the liability waiver prior to registering. Download the form and return the completed form with membership fee.
If you would like a spot in the back lot to park a trailer/boat, that is being used for club activities or for a boat that has rented a slip, please read the back lot policy. Until the situation with the Village has been resolved, we are not collecting fees for the back lot. In the meantime, if you don’t have a spot to store your boat/trailer, please reach out to us at the club phone number.
If you are requesting a powerboat slip, download the Power Boat Slip Agreement and return the completed form with membership fee.
Then download and print out the membership form. There are separate forms this year for social and regular members. (If you are not currently a regular member, and would like to be one, contact a regular member.)
Fill out the contact information and select the fees as appropriate.
Contact information will be shared via membership directory with club members, unless indicated on the form.
Reminder that the Introductory Membership is only for those who are attending a CSS@P sailing lesson this year and have not previously been a member.
Acknowledge that you have read the back lot policy if you want to store a trailer/boat in the lot.
The completed membership form, liability waiver and, if requesting a powerboat slip, the powerboat agreement should be sent with payment to the address at the top of the form by the due date.
Power Boat or Sailboat lifts will not be placed during Lift In in April, unless fees have been paid.
