The Pistakee Yacht Club welcomes members who want to use the club to access the lake to sail a dinghy.  Our social membership allows for launching of a dinghy from either the floating ramps or with the hoist using a bridle.  We have one night a week where our dinghy sailors sail together.  Check the calendar for dates and information.  Keeping a dinghy in the back lot at the club requires an additional annual fee, along with an annual fee for launching.  Dinghies can mean many things to different people.  Pistakee Yacht Club uses the following guidelines to describe a dinghy.

Any non-powered watercraft that is launched with each use is considered a dinghy, and requires the annual dinghy launch fee. In addition to small sailboats, this would include paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, row boats, or sculls.

Dinghy sailboats that may sail/race with the club and sailing school on Dinghy Race night should be under 16 feet in length.
